Search problem Outlook 2016 - Microsoft Community


have been using search function on outlook 2016 , alll of sudden keeps saying no results. have watched numerous videos , read many forums , extremely frustrated. have rebuilt index says , still nothing. use feature many. can help?

this problem occurred latest office 365 update.
first of all, worked.

precision: problem arises pst files. contents of ost files search works.

temporary solution: disable indexing of outlook search slow of course

problem annoying

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
