Cursor Jumping in Outlook 2011 - ELCapitan - Microsoft Community


using macbook 12" retina.  my os elcapitan 10.11.6 , using outlook 2011, version 14.7.4. issue while typing email, cursor jumps within lines. happened on machine well. switch click option on trackpad same issue. can help?

based on personal experience, kind of problem related “capitalize first letter of sentences” feature in autocorrect. please kind check if problem still persists after only disable feature.

 

also, please kindly check if problem occurs when use microsoft word. outlook client use same feature in word type emails.

 

if problem persists, need following information further troubleshooting:

1. problem occur before? did before problem occur? installing applications or updates?

2. problem appears when add signature in email format? happens if don’t add signature?

3. what type of email account use, office 365 account, gmail account, hotmail.com account or other account?

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
