outlook 2007 - how to add file shortcuts to (recurring) - Microsoft Community


i can't figure out how add shortcuts files in appointments. have done in past.

i want have a short cut in appointment, such when double-click on it, opens file in folder, shortcut on desktop - way can have recurring appointment work on file.

when "insert file" , select shortcut file, inserts original file - creates new copy of file. 
or, if drag , drop shortcut, won't open file.

when use "hyperlink" function, can choose file , creates hyperlink. think how did before. looks same.

however, when try open file, appointement gets wavy lines @ top appointment indicates "i'm working something" .
after minute or so, excel file have linked open.
however, word file gets wavy never opens.
links folders created way open immediately

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
