Outlook.com and Outlook 2013 - Microsoft Community


i have tried re-set profile in outlook 2013 several times.  don't ask , pretty technically savvy but, ever microsoft did stumped , unable connect outlook 2013 , outlook.com, after repeated attempts.   not having luck.  have gone link https://support.office.com/en-us/article/i-can-t-see-my-outlook-com-email-in-outlook-2016-or-outlook-2013-cda1751d-9503-40bf-bf76-e79454ac5eb3?ui=en-us&rs=en-us&ad=us , have gone outlook.com options pop, imap, smtp settings instructions tab.  use multiple email accounts work , school.  can't state how important is, tired of switching , fourth between outlook 2013 , outlook.com.  if can give me walk thru instructions grateful.

there lot of reasons why issue happening.

to better assist you, please answer questions below:

  • are using outlook email client or windows mail app?
  • does mail server came email provider or in outlook?
  • what main email server you're using?

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
