Problems with Blank Dialog boxes? - Microsoft Community


about month ago, started having problem apps (word, excel, couple of others).  when want close document not save as, dialog box supposed come ask me whether want save or don't save.  how has worked , still on other computers.  me boxes blank.  no buttons.  no way don't save.  option close app using task manager, big pain.  suggestion tech support people had windows update had bug.  couldn't fix anything.

anyone else have problem?  after being on calls tech support 4 hours today, couldn't fix it.  caused problem won't try fix problem because relates outlook. 

i have been wondering last 4 hours if apply has been getting unsupportive support people go work microsoft make mac computers better.

  • have made significant changes pc before issue started?
  • which version of microsoft office using?
  • have tried doing repair option resolve concern?

if haven't tried repair option, suggest following steps below:

  1. type control panel on search bar, click on control panel.
  2. click on programs.
  3. click on programs , features.
  4. look microsoft office, right click on it.
  5. click on change, select repair and follow on-screen steps.

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
