Outlook for MAC status always "not connected to *** - Microsoft Community


env:

macbook os: mac os sierra version 10.12.4 + microsoft@ outlook mac 2011 (latest installed update: 14.6.9 )
outlook connect via https exchange

problem：
1. outside company,the outlook working suddently not, status of outlook showing "not connected "exchange" ", works if connected vpn or in company network.
2.i have tried remove office 2011 for mac , reinstalled it, doesn't help, tried create new idenlity well, doesn't help.
3.i tried create user in macbook and create same outlook account under new user, works.

problem is my account has 70gb email data, driver me crazy if to rebuild them all, , testing, guess there configuration incorrect under account.
please know problem , how correct please ?

based on knowledge, issue should caused settings in mac , not relate outlook mac client, creating new profile of outlook , reinstall outlook mac client take no avail create new mac profile can resolve issue.

and understand want rebuild outlook database solve problem now. 

in situation, suggest you rebuild outlook mac database referring step 4 in article: rebuild outlook mac 2011 database resolve problems.

before rebuilding database of outlook 2011 mac, suggest current profile copying current profile file storage. outlook mac 2011, profile of outlook should locate in /documents/microsoft user data/office 2011 identities of home folder.

note: rebuilding of database might take period of time email size large.

Sync Error: 800CCC0F-0-0-560 and 8004DF03-0-0-560 - Microsoft Community

hello i know others have posted error, not recently, , not outlook 2016. have imap account. so receiving number of errors in synchronization logs (800ccc0f-0-0-560 , 8004df03-0-0-560). appears draft folder thats causing issue. however, there nothing saved in draft folder in outlook or webmail client. i have talked 4 different microsoft tech support people. have repaired office, repaired pst file, created new outlook data file, turned off antivirus, subscribed/unsubscirbed folders (though cant unsubscribe drafts). any ideas? hi weiss, you may getting errors due permissions in outlook. let's see if changing root folder make difference when syncing mail. follow these steps: open outlook. click on file . go account settings . select account settings . click on change . select more settings . go advanced . enter inbox as root folder path . click ok . restart outlook. let know if steps allow aroun...
