we know office 365 things million problems ui , function continuity "old office." big frustration right trying figure out equivalent kb shortcuts outlook in office 365.
i found list here: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/keyboard-shortcuts-in-outlook-on-the-web-63df572e-1078-4562-b45e-b93e07a76ffb
but they're not working me.
for example, list says ctrl+shift+b should move message folder, when press that, brings favorite bar.
when go click "move" says "move (v)" suggesting v shortcut key (like in gmail). awesome if modeled gmail on dimension, v doesn't anything. neither ctrl+v, shift+v, alt+v.
it's amazingly frustrating ms can't a) retain same kb shortcuts native version, , b) have more clarity how use them (i.e., doesn't whether these work main inbox screen or when in specific message). major setback ux , accessibility. have mobility related disability , rely on kb shortcuts.
am missing something? i'm using office 365 through company. viewing in ie 11. part of problem?
hi matt,
first, i'd clarify kb applies outlook on web. before perform these keyboard shortcuts described in article, please disable keyboard shortcuts in browser(ie) avoid codes' overwriting.
however, have done research , found not feasible turn off hotkeys in ie. can restrict specific menu commands. if so, hotkeys in ie not work anymore. procedure little bit complex. here article reference: the restrictions available internet explorer 6.0 sp1
it suggested use browser chrome/firefox , turn off hotkeys of browser. check if works.
thanks,
lance
