outlook 2007 had 3 ways of connecting msn (hotmail/live mail/outlook.com) account, outlook hotmail connector, imap, , pop. if using hotmail connector, no longer works, the connector needs uninstalled , account removed , re-added outlook 2007 via auto account setup, per article palcouk referenced. if using imap or pop, nothing should have changed, however, move office 365 exchange online servers, both of these type accounts may have removed outlook 2007 ad re-added in order keep mail flow going. in general, should use exchange server protocol account take advantage of contact , calendar sync, neither imap nor pop support.
