Cursor keeps disappearing in Outlook2016 for Mac? - Microsoft Community


recently, when type email in outlook 2016 mac (15.31 170104), cursor disappears. characters appear when type think cursor should be, options select words , sentences etc keyboard using shift-cursor-combo's don't work anymore. need mouse-click @ position make cursor re-appear again, select want select, continue typing, have cursor disappear again , type away until need selection again , need click somewhere before being able selection...

(btw when find switching outlook app , back, outlook seems pretty slow since version (before updating, had better performance). slowness visible @ other moments. have rebooted mac several times since install, no improvement.)

i have checked on side same version, ok.

please try restart the system and start in safe mode to check if issue persists.

if issue persists, dig further issue, i’d confirm following information:

1.the os version. from apple menu, choose about mac. capture screenshot.

2.some screenshots symptom.

3. issue happen since upgrade version 15.31 170104?

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
