"Outlook data file cannot be accessed" - Microsoft Community


using microsoft office 365.

i had have hard drive recovered. when got copmuter recognized e drive , not former g drive , outlook couldnt automatically find .pst file. opened file thru outlook. when account opens, have no send/receive button on top of home screen. when go send/receive screen , select send/receive, send/receive error. when click on send/receive error @ bottom of page, opens box (image attached) saying "outlook file can not accessed. connection works test message passed.

how file accessed?

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
