suddenly new emails not showing in inbox

outlook 2016

running pop3 account

the notification there count of new emails

i have no filters can see, have never set any

the new emails show in search in inbox folder

i have reset views

when try run outlook.exe/cleanviews message that not found

????

as emails don’t show in inbox can found on web mail server of pop account, can make sure emails has delivered mail server. reason of not showing in inbox there cache in outlook client.

 

in situation, suggest delete old emails or empty deleted items folder clear spaces, check if issue still happens.

 

if yes, please create new profile , add account new profile yang mentioned. please refer article:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/829918/how-to-create-profile-and-set-up-an-e-mail-account-in-outlook. , don’t forget back data before creating new profile.

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
