Search issues with Outlook 2016 (windows 7 Pro SP1) - Microsoft Community


after entering text 1 of search fields (mostly 'from') search returns results unable delete text search field (i.e. search else), have delete field entirely 'x' button , re-select search/more drop down list of locations. 

possibly unrelated regularly receive " went wrong , search not completed" although fixed running outlook in administrator mode.

thanks posting here. we'd confirm if problem happen filed or "from" filed. did problem happen before? meanwhile, can check if problem happen in outlook safe mode?

 

to test in our side, can provide detailed outlook version us? go file > office account > outlook.

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
