old contacts disappeared in Outlook, only one new remains - Microsoft Community

win 10, office/outlook 2013, pop server.

last spring/summer, added new contact. couldn't find old ones!

is possible delete without noticing (normal usage)?

i have tried looking if accidentally created new address book, no, have 1 address book 1 contact now...

background: had problems last pc (where started) died of memory failure , viruses in novemer. got new one, searched filed including back-up, imported old outlook.pst file same versions of win , outlook/mail set-up, , got old mails , folders back, parallel new inbox later mails, ok.

still 1 contact - however, during "sleeping" period, of old contacts have had birthdays, notices/reminders came these?! made me think contacts there somewhere, hidden me? have read other answers , looked , forth in settings etc, no luck...

contacts in contacts folder of default outlook data file. if no longer see folder in navigation pane, either you're using view, mail, shows mail folders, you're not using same data file using when did see other contacts, or you're looking in wrong data file.
