Outlook 2016 and Gmail - deleting emails sometimes creates an - Microsoft Community


sometimes (i estimate somewhere between 1% , 10% of time), deleting email in outlook doesn't behave. looks email deleted - disappears folder , appears in trash. - or more likely, duplicate copy of - made on gmail server, unlabelled. in other words, duplicate of made , archived. can found in mail folder of gmail. real nuisance - when find in mail (by looking unlabeled items), if email part of thread, have careful not delete entire thread when re-delete individual email. [this problem never occurs outlook 2010 @ all.]

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
