Outlook 2016 for Mac crashes when adding an attachment to an email - Microsoft Community


hello- 

i have user using latest version of outlook mac (15.34) on osx sierra 10.12.5. time add attachment, file of filetype, outlook crashes. here exception get:

hi bhdna,

if possible, please try configuring account in user's outlook 2016 mac , see if same issue. can identify whether issue related user's outlook mac client. 

and, may let user run outlook 2016 mac in safe mode via https://support.apple.com/en-us/ht201262. on hand, outlook mac (15.34) should not latest version. so, user can try clicking "help"> "check updates" see if client can upgraded. 

meanwhile, log (here called exception) provided see if useful information can got.

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
