Outlook Smart Folder loses condition Not in Folder - Microsoft Community


hi, when saving smart folder  that have conditions using "folder" , "not in" save it, can use on session, when exit , re-enter outook conditions referencing "folder" , "not in" lost.

i don't use of other conditions, "not read" , "not in specific folder, spam example". "not read" kept, condition "not in specific folder" lost.

this happens in 15.31, come previous versions too, it's i've started using.

here suggestions i’d share you:

  1. make sure outlook mac client date.
  2. try creating new outlook mac profile to see if there improvement.

 

if don’t help, i’d collect more information better understand issue:

  1. the detailed version of outlook mac client.
  2. are 1 in organization encountered issue?
  3. are referring article to save search using smart folder in outlook 2016 mac?
  4. are setting office 365 account outlook mac client? if yes, if set office 365 account outlook mac 2016 client? same issue happen?

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
