"Sent" folders not syncing - Microsoft Community


since installing office365 on phone , laptop, messages sent outlook on laptop not show on web server or phone, , messages sent online site or phone not appear in "sent" folder on laptop.

this extremely inconvenient go , forth in threads between phone , laptop, cannot find emails...

how can fix this?

based on experience, may have set office 365 account in outlook on desktop via imap/pop , sent items not synced server side. if that’s case, suggest remove account , re-configure via exchange mode (auto-setup) see if issue can fixed. reference:

note: please data via exporting them .pst file in case of potential data loss when deleting account.
 
if issue persists, i’d collect following information further troubleshoot issue:
1. screenshot of account settings page in file> info> account settings
2. sent items folders of outlook web app (web server) , on phone can synced without problem, correct?
3. can other folders inbox folder or deleted items folder synced between outlook desktop client , outlook web app (or mobile phone) properly?
