Outlook 2016 notification not working.. - Microsoft Community

outlook 2016 not alert when new email arrives while microsoft mail job well. there pop-up notification sound when new email received in mail app. in case of outlook, have update folder at times. of time mail delivered expect app notify me pop-up message.

i checked community discussion, there quiet few issues mine none of them have been answered or followed up. *notification app in system settings enabled message alert options of outlook settings.

you might need turn on notification in windows 10 settings. if change settings on outlook desktop app need provide check on play sound, show envelope icon in taskbar , display desktop alert. can reach following if have outlook apps, go file tab, select options, click mail, message arrival , click ok.

if issue still occurs, need enable notification on windows settings:

1. press windows key , type notification in search field.
2. click notifications & action settings.
3. you need check if outlook in list notification turned on under notifications these senders.
