Outlook 2016 - can edit subject line, but is not reflected in message - Microsoft Community


hi - lots of other people edit vague email subjects "meeting" or "question" words useful :)

i'm still able in outlook 2016, changes not reflected in message list (see screenshot below). if 'find' on words in edit made, outlook finds them - knows there!

  1. select "field chooser" right click menu.
  2. select "task subject"
  3. drag column headings

you see updated subject line in message list.

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
