Outlook email sorting by sender - Microsoft Community


hi,

     there great feature sort email in outlook clicking on "from" on top menu bar.  email in folder be sorted senders in alphabetical order.  can type letter, shall brought session where sender's name starting with that letter.

      have new laptop (windows 10) microsoft office 365 proplus installed.  lost feature.  can still sort email sender clicking "from" on menu bar.  however, not able type letter go senders name starting letter.

      there in outlook setting feature back?  in subject appreciated.

   feature of sudden works on own tested prior run online repair.  haven't changed on computer, resolution may remain mystery.  took advise run online repair program anyways.  feature still working.  :-)

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
