[Bug] Program hangup while trying to save a file. - Microsoft Community

recently have noticed annoying bug. whenever trying save file in ms office or libre office, program using stop working. ms office hang other program , clicking anywhere result in addition of (not responding) tag program's window title. libre office can shed light on source of problem. when try save document, program not freeze whole window turn unresponsive. there characteristic sound upon clicking window, commonly associated clicking unclickable element , window's title not (not responding) tag.

i assume there problem how system file explorer communicates programs , handles display of save/save dialog box. there fatal error between file explorer , ms office , minor problem window placement between libre office , file explorer (save/save dialog box located outside users screen , cannot dragged back). can assume because when libre office uses own save/save dialog box there no problems saving.

there interesting thing problem. after 4 failed attempts (open program - try save - fail - kill program - repeat) either of programs mentioned, problem magically disappear until system shut down or restart.
