Outlook for Mac 2016 (version 15.31) asking for my - Microsoft Community


hi team,

we having issue mac outlook version. randomly application prompts authentication password. firstly authenticating license subscription part , second local account configuration password.

we have done below things reading related threads of ms. deleting keychain items , tested things. works day or 2 again problem persists.


make sure quite outlook , other office apps. go keychain access

2. search "exchange" under login --> items , delete everything

3. search "office" , delete everything

4. search "adal" , delete everything 

5. launch outlook

6. activation prompt , if account added see password prompt app , adal again. please 2-factor authentication if asked , should able login.

 

it helpful if 1 can on case. happening mac user use mac office 2016 using office 365 services.

please help.

if use office 365 account , configure account on outlook mac client through exchange, current workaround clear value in keychain access steps used.

 

in order solve problem, please provide following information:

1. what type of email account use, office 365 account, gmail account, hotmail.com account or other account?

2. detailed version of outlook mac 2016 client. on top menu, click outlook > outlook. looks 15.31 (170216).

3. how configure account on outlook client, via exchange, pop or imap?

4. screenshots error “firstly authenticating license subscription part , second local account configuration password”.

Sync Error: 800CCC0F-0-0-560 and 8004DF03-0-0-560 - Microsoft Community

hello i know others have posted error, not recently, , not outlook 2016. have imap account. so receiving number of errors in synchronization logs (800ccc0f-0-0-560 , 8004df03-0-0-560). appears draft folder thats causing issue. however, there nothing saved in draft folder in outlook or webmail client. i have talked 4 different microsoft tech support people. have repaired office, repaired pst file, created new outlook data file, turned off antivirus, subscribed/unsubscirbed folders (though cant unsubscribe drafts). any ideas? hi weiss, you may getting errors due permissions in outlook. let's see if changing root folder make difference when syncing mail. follow these steps: open outlook. click on file . go account settings . select account settings . click on change . select more settings . go advanced . enter inbox as root folder path . click ok . restart outlook. let know if steps allow aroun...
