so frustrating "feature" of outlook vengeance!!!!

facts

account: office 365 account, corporate

software: outlook 2016 mac 15.30 (170107)

device: macbook pro (13-inch, 2016, touchbar) (processor 3.3 ghz intel core i7) (memory 16 gb 2133 mhz lpddr3) (storage 1 tb flash storage) (so maxed out specs)

network: (100 mb broadband link, average download speed 95 mbps, average upload speed 20 mbps, number of users : 1 (me))

as can see above specs, there no compromise on specs of infrastructure. however, situation this:

  • i click on email - spinning wheel
  • i scroll on email list - spinning wheel
  • i scroll on email - spinning wheel
  • i double click open email in new window - spinning wheel
  • i click on search box - spinning wheel
  • i on outlook window - spinning wheel

the spinning wheel lasts 5-20 seconds, gets average 200 emails day, pulling out fingernails!!!

more details activity monitor:

cpu usage outlook ~ 3-6%

mem usage ~270 mb

disk usage ~5.5 gb

more 80% of system resources free overall

things have tried:

  • new profiles 9deleted master profile, created new one, created multiple profiles,
  • removed .plist files
  • re installed outlook
  • deleted , added o365 account
  • all permutations , combinations of above, multiple times

outcome- guess - spinning wheel!!!!!

thank detailed information issue encounter on outlook 2016 mac.

i ask information further check issue:

1. mac os version

2. whether outlook mac have worked previously. if yes, happened before issue occurred, such installing software or updating outlook mac.

if issue persists, provide process sample can identify processes affect performance of outlook.

take process sample following these steps:

1. make sure outlook reproduce issue.
2. open activity monitor (finder > applications > utilities > activity monitor).
3. click cpu tab.
4. double-click microsoft outlook.
5. click sample process.

6. when sample done, copy , paste contents , save .txt (text) file

send txt file via private message link.

Sync Error: 800CCC0F-0-0-560 and 8004DF03-0-0-560 - Microsoft Community

hello i know others have posted error, not recently, , not outlook 2016. have imap account. so receiving number of errors in synchronization logs (800ccc0f-0-0-560 , 8004df03-0-0-560). appears draft folder thats causing issue. however, there nothing saved in draft folder in outlook or webmail client. i have talked 4 different microsoft tech support people. have repaired office, repaired pst file, created new outlook data file, turned off antivirus, subscribed/unsubscirbed folders (though cant unsubscribe drafts). any ideas? hi weiss, you may getting errors due permissions in outlook. let's see if changing root folder make difference when syncing mail. follow these steps: open outlook. click on file . go account settings . select account settings . click on change . select more settings . go advanced . enter inbox as root folder path . click ok . restart outlook. let know if steps allow aroun...
