Outlook search - Microsoft Community


outlook search (bellsouth email) returns no items.

1. had gmail , bellsouth accounts on outlook. gmail searched fine.

2. bellsouth search works in safe mode.

3. rebuild index -- didn't help.

4. removed gmail , rebuilt index. although indexing "complete," had thousands fewer items expected. bellsouth searching worked, although got message "something went wrong..." . closed outlook , reopened. indexing restarted , thousands of items added. outlook search (only bellsouth on there now) returns no times again. restarted outlook , still doesn't work.

what next???

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
