outlook version 2016 - version1702, smiley issue - Microsoft Community

after updated outlook 1702 have issue when try to write smiley in email.
smiley a square, wrong? knows?

can insert smiley in outlook client via https://support.office.com/en-us/article/automatically-insert-an-arrow-face-or-other-symbol-cb3f01ec-0a86-4ac1-bac0-ec80526596d4. please re-confirm whether have done this.
moreover, make sure outlook client newly updated. can check via “file”> “office account”> “office update”> “update now”. after that, i’d collect screenshot detailed outlook client version if issue persists (you can refer mine).
seems trying adding smiley in table. or can clarify detailed steps have performed add smiley.
