Winmail.dat using Outlook 2016 - Microsoft Community


recipients receive winmail.dat files. when should attached file, when there no attachment. i've tried recommended ms solutions - created new outlook profile, double-checked general html setting, , reset individual contact settings. tried disable tnef setting in registry. doesn't happen when using outlook.com. suggestions?

the outlook team actively investigating issue determine fix.  there no known workarounds @ point.  keep topic above updated , add when fix go out know.

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
