contact list in outlook 2016 hidden view.  there 1 day disappeared.  when send email , click on to: space, contact show up.  how show contacts when click on people icon? open contacts folder. sure you're using navigation pane view shows contact folders. that's people view (ctrl+3) or folder list view (ctrl+6). if you're using mail view (ctrl+1), non-mail folders contacts or notes or tasks or calendar don't show. hello everyone, this going bit long 1 please bear me ... our desk stumped , i've been looking online no end now.  hopefully, can help. at work, on-prem our email , had single sign on. in april, migrated on o365.  once happened: on desktop: i had sign in second time outlook.  (i restart machine every day that's 2 logins per day unless shut down , restart outlook additional times.  it adds , it's annoying.)  my desktop windows 7 enterprise, sp 1, 64-bit.  office @ time office 2013. emails arrived in inbox, hear alert, see preview see in inbox , not.  hitting send/receive nothing.  i have browse away inbox browse , new emails arrive.  it's intermittent can't reproduce it.  *grrr* on laptop #1: (this exact environment desktop - test machine) i 1 login using our single sign on, regardless of how many times launched outlook.  my laptop #1 windows 7 , office 2013. on laptop #2: i did 1...

indexing not working in outlook 2010 after installing update - kb4022723 released on june 27, 2017.........  test if indexing working fine after installing update kb4022723, removed drives , selected pst file wanted indexed on priority. opened indexing options control panel , saw 171 items indexed , says indexing complete. have more 20,000 emails in pst file. in outlook 2010, indexing status shows "outlook has finished indexing of items." when type anything, result getting outlook's own built-in search engine can see result isn't instant , kept searching , result started coming 1 one. i have tried following: 1. rebuild index 2. repairing .pst files 3. restarting windows search services 4. deselecting , again selecting outlook pst files in indexed locations. 5. made changes registry make indexing run continuously if there user activity. please help we suggest uninstall , rei...

i had outlook, part of office 365 home,  configured receive emails gmail account, , had worked fine years until yesterday when tried sending email gmail account had sent usual exchange account. had received message saying that email not delivered. got message "microsoft outlook has stopped working" , program re-start automatically. upon restarting, same message, time program close , windows notify me if solution available.  the size of email in outbox 140 kb--not big. i can outlook work again starting in safe mode , deleting gmail account. however, email trying send still in outbox , not able delete it. i've tried setting outlook work offline , restarting (restarting several times), still can't delete email in outbox. message telling me outlook has started transmitting message. i've added gmail account again. outlook tells me account has been set successfully. able send test message properly, same message telling me outl...
