here scenario have. client has conference room shared not own people, people outside of organization. both groups need able schedule time room , have updated on calendars.
i created room resource in o365, set permissions, shared out specific person outside of organization (in case me, testing). can see calendar in outlook, , create appointments. appointment not update in shared calendar. if create appointment using calendar in conference room account, never updates on calendar in outlook. have emailed conference room account , set auto accept requests, never auto accept , add calendar. have created appointment , invited myself meeting, never updates on calendar.
do not understand how works, or missing something?

first of all, clear external user can't schedule time room , update on calendars.
make sure have enable external sharing using office 365 admin center.
