Cant Find Outlook 2016 attachments - Microsoft Community


when email attachments can open , see them fine.  but if reply or forward  to email, later on go inbox , can no longer see attachments.  i see little paper clip icon, when open email, not their.   have remember save attachment before reply.    can't find them in sent box or anywhere have ask person send them again.  embarassing

since others in organization not encounter issue, based on knowledge, issue related outlook client.

so identify this, suggest configure account in pc outlook works fine see if issue exists.

if not, can follow methods below see if can resolve issue:

1.       update outlook client latest version. please refer article:

https://support.office.com/en-us/article/install-office-updates-2ab296f3-7f03-43a2-8e50-46de917611c5 .

2.       if methods above don’t work, exclude if issue caused other program on computer, reboot computer clean boot. please refer article: how perform clean boot in windows.

3.       there possibility issue related current profile. if #1 , #2 don’t help, suggest create new profile , perform test. please refer article: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/create-an-outlook-profile-f544c1ba-3352-4b3b-be0b-8d42a540459d.

if issue happens when log account pc works fine, issue related email account.

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
