Organizing Outlook 2010 - Microsoft Community


i want able organize outlook 2010 email.   in other words have created email specific persons , want automatically move read email these individual folders after emails read.  question -  know of way set rule -- after have read "xyz" mail individual --- move "xyx" mail folder?    if not possible - why hasn't  microsoft developed behavior ....  piece of mail went specific folder last 20 times... ? 

i"m sure spend enormous amounts of time handling mail , valuable , useful time saver ?

you can set rule move message particular folder when it arrives. that's do; isn't enough you?  far know, there's no way have rule says don't move until after you've read it.

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
