Search not working in Outlook - Microsoft Community


i have windows 10 pro installed on laptop.

i have office 365 installed on laptop.

i have rebuild index couple of times. search not working in outlook.

do have leave laptop on continuously till index rebuild? or can shut down or hibernate when indexing being done?

we can see here having issues office 365's outlook. there several factors why search option not working , that's going figure out. isolate concern, may know following:

  • any changes made on computer prior concern? 
  • what troubleshooting steps have tried far?

for meantime, suggest perform office repair control panel. kindly follow instructions provided on link.

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
