Windows 10 Creators Update & Outlook 2016 Not Responding - Microsoft Community


after windows updated me to windows 10 creators update, outlook 2016 started "not responding" on start-up.

i have tried every step in article:

i have 22 email accounts, of them imap.

i can in using "/safe" mode, , have disabled add-ins, etc.  like mentioned, did steps in above link.

the new outlook profile create has 1 email account (still imap), crashes (not responding) after while when try open email, or scroll through emails (with preview on).

any ideas?

let's outlook sorted. to check if configuration error causing issue, suggest download , run office configuration analyzer tool (offcat). tool provides detailed report of installed office programs , highlights known problems.

are using malwarebytes on computer? after updating windows 10 creators update , malwarebytes installed, may experience crashes office. malwarebytes released fix in latest beta version of malwarebytes v. 3.1.0.1716. more information , download version, visit https://forums.malwarebytes.com/topic/200230-malwarebytes-version-310-beta-available-for-download/.

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
