Giving a distribution list access to a group in office 365 - Microsoft Community

hello all,

i  have created new group in office 365 share information few people @ work. trying give users access group. if add them 1 user @ time works if try add distribution list has users not work. can me figure out how attach distribution list group please?

first, i'd confirm whether create office 365 group , want add distribution list group list members can access office 365 group. if yes, when try type distribution list email address in office 365 group , press enter key, members of distribution list show in below. here screenshot reference:

to better understand situation,  please provide following information:

1. the detailed steps how add distribution list office 365 group. screenshots helpful.
2. when add user office 365 group, said "it works". mean user can see office 365 group in outlook web app (owa: https://outlook.office.com/)? if not, please let me know meaning of "it works".
