Outlook won't start - Microsoft Community


i allowed computer install office 365 2016 update.  programs work fine except outlook.  when attempt load it, either immediate "outlook has stopped working" dialog box, or box asking me start in safe mode - doesn't anyway, or request accept microsoft conditions can't past without clicking 'accept', have fail regardless.  should undoing update (and lose benefits) or there solution?

there number of possible reasons outlook behave way. recommend perform troubleshooting steps below:

method 1: launch outlook in safe mode

1. close outlook.

2. on apps menu, choose run, type outlook /safe, , clickok.

3. close outlook, , open normally.

method 2: repair office programs

1. close office programs running.

2. press windows key + x, select control panel.

3. select programs , features. in list of installed programs, right-click microsoft office product want repair, , click on change.

4. how repair office programs screen, select online repair make sure gets fixed, , select repair.

5. follow on-screen instructions.

update on outcome.

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
