After upgrading to Windows 10 - Cannot open or rename outlook msg file - Microsoft Community


cannot open/rename saved outlook 2013 msg file after upgrading windows 10. 

is there restriction size(number of characters) used in naming msg file in outlook 2013 (after upgrading windows 10). 

apparently, user cannot rename file name (restricted number of characters) after upgrading windows 10.

please help

since issue regarding opening or renaming outlook message file started after upgrading windows 10, suggest perform repair outlook 2013. please follow steps provided in repair office application.

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
