Feedback from OUTLOOK - Microsoft Community


every time press 'send/receive' following message appears on bottom of screen. have noticed though have been appearing weeks or months. 

task 'bt internet - receiving' reported error (0x80042104) : 'your e-mail server not have features required allow messages left on server.'

i not nerdy , @ 73 years & late comer computing, kind of thing makes me nervous. not appear have affected performance of either outlook or device generally. know:

1. message means and

2. how rid of it

hi patrick,

we know more issue , error whenever you're sending emails. kindly answer following:

  • have made changes on account/computer prior issue?
  • how outlook configured?
  • are using pop, imap or exchange?

in meantime, try close , reopen outlook , see if error still there.

we'll waiting response.

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
