"There is no email program associated..." error in Outlook - Microsoft Community


this whole episode started earlier week when windows 10 did update , dismantled in outlook 2007 including icloud support.  after troubleshooting, decided upgrade office 2016 professional (not 365).  got email, calendars, notes, etc. working again i'm getting error message.  follow directions , make sure outlook 2016 listed default email client in settings.  error message still occurs.  search online remedy , it's recommended modify registry , delete outlook client.  done.  rebooted , error still occurs.

any other suggestions?

its better stick office 2016 if want try outlook 2007 again posted workaround icloud in topic (issue #6), https://support.office.com/en-us/article/outlook-known-issues-in-the-june-2017-security-updates-3f6dbffd-8505-492d-b19f-b3b89369ed9b?ui=en-us&rs=en-us&ad=us.  apologize frustration caused.

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
