i have tried can find on client machine running windows 10 pro x64 , office 365 (2016 apps installed). there multiple users use machine common windows logon due point of sale software have 2 outlook profiles users select open email , need force password prompt every time.
currently had credential manager turned off (stopped service , set disabled) , first time users goes outlook, prompted password after initial prompt, outlook or windows still seems remember password allows me select profile when outlook launches automatically opens without asking password. when type in password, not selecting remember password either.
outlook not using cache mode there no ost file offline browsing cannot figure out how outlook remembers password since should prompt , if cancel, outlook closes since cannot open mailbox.
any idea appreciated not understand why machine won't prompt
user connecting godaddy office 365 accounts showing http protocols being used , server normal https://outlook.office365.com/mapi/xxxxxx names.
i have given on using multiple profiles outlook 2016 since way force password either waiting while after closing outlook or closing outlook , opening other profile caches password , seems overwrite other profile information.
i telling client needs have own ad account use instead of using public accounts setup since these point of sale workstations.
i using own solution issue ad accounts, way each person has own profile , outlook profiles not issue.
