outlook 2016 graphic glitch on navigation pane - Microsoft Community

this graphic glitch happens few users (at least complain) myself.

for reasons unknown, navigation panel fail redraw/refresh , end so. can shrink navigation pane, expand , pin force redraw again (very annoying).

pc specs.

windows 10 64 bit

hp elitedesk g2

built in graphic card intel hd graphics 530. i've tried whatever graphic drivers available hp's website. tried intel's driver update utility doesn't work (ie: custom drivers)

outlook 2016 

i have tried turning off hardware acceleration (via gpo).

resetting outlook folder pane can resolve concern. this, follow steps below:

    1. ensure outlook closed, press , hold windows key and r on keyboard.
    2. in run command, type outlook.exe /resetnavpane.
        note: there’s space between outlook.exe , /resetnavpane.
    3. relaunch outlook , check if issue persists.

if troubleshooting steps provided above didn’t work you, suggest reset views in outlook set on default setting. this, follow steps below:

    1. ensure outlook closed, press , hold windows key and r on keyboard.
    2. in run command, type outlook /cleanviews.
        note: there’s space between outlook and /cleanviews.
    3. relaunch outlook , check if issue persists.
