i using outlook 2016 on new macbook pro laptop.
i familiar outlook , of previous versions , use calendar program every day. can create calendar invite categorization button greyed out. after send invite can go entry , assign category. never had before. have mac laptop next me , can assign category instantly while creating calendar invite. missing allow feature occur on mac. ps -- both pc's using exchange server.

if using outlook mac version 15.30 (170107) , encounter issue, it’s known issue. , issue of adding category new appointment in calendar has been fixed in latest update of insider fast channel. may wait update production channel.
