Outlook 2016 doesn't recognise '*email address' as - Microsoft Community


 i getting spam asterisk in address eg '*boiler repairs' . junk tool  in outlook 2016 cannot block sender in format. pretty obviuosly junk.

the junk email filter turned on , protection level set no automatic filtering default. however, can change level of protection in junk email filter catches more junk emails. information , steps on how provided on link.

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
