i started having issue since upgrading sierra (10.12.4).   have applied office updates (now on 14.7.4) since encountering it, , problem persists.

the problem happens both plain text , html format messages.  and happens whether pasting images directly email body, or attaching jpg or png file.  

the native mac mail client sends images fine, don't think it's pure os issue, there issue between office 2011 , mac os sierra.

digging little further, have found jpg/png attachments being encoded mime type application/applefile instead of image/xxx.  from can tell, attachment there, not encoded in format email clients seem willing handle image.  what means if forward email (which doesn't 'show' image) 1 of clients, image accessible/visible.

contrast how images encoded prior sierra upgrade images appear fine:

i know support cycle on 2011 coming end, there chance can fix or workaround on this?  it getting bit tedious either convert image pdf or send , forward email in order image visible recipients.

i understand cannot collect log now, , that's right.

i want let know after consulting our related team, information issue caused changes of features on mac os sierra after updating.

so suggest update outlook mac 2016 better user experience. or can save screenshot locally (command+shift+4) , attach image file workaround.
