Outllook 2016 Error - Microsoft Community


when try launch outlook following error box:

cannot start microsoft outlook. cannot open outlook window. invalid xml, view cannot loaded.

i'm using windows 7.  i have uninstalled , re-installed office 365 3 times, no help.  it working on other computer.

understand cannot open outlook desktop client. please try step below , see if issue can fixed.

hold windows key while press r key—type outlook.exe /resetnavpane—press enter.



if issue still occurs, i’d collect following information investigation:

1. after running step above, message?
2. office suite version. this, can open other office application, word, navigate file > account.
3. screenshot of entire error message.

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
