Outlook Search Error - Microsoft Community


after june 27, 2017 microsoft update microsoft claimed solved problem, when trying search indexed outlook files, still error message "something went wrong , search couldn't completed".  else having issue?

windows has released fixes through windows updates address issue. if you're still experiencing issue, need additional information better assist you:

  • which build , version of windows using?
  • were able install latest update? can provide screenshot of installed updates?

in meantime, can follow steps workaround under issue #5 in outlook known issues in june 2017 security updates support article.

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
