have used 'design ideas' theme in powerpoint 2016 presentation , want apply slides. problem graphic elements laid out in design idea don't appear on slide master or of available design themes. can't select graphic elements screen copy them onto slide master. cover logo have on original slide background. can of course copy or duplicate 1 of design slides each time want make new 1 seems clunky , still can't manipulate elements reveal logo. ideas gratefully received.
if want use layout repeatedly, best bet might make new layout matches it. there might cleverer way of doing i'd save slide image, go slide master , insert new blank layout. set layout's background image saved.
then can add placeholders , such, size , move them around match positions on original slide w/o accidentally selecting , moving background image.
when done, can change background image or reset background plain color, gradient or whatever.
