Why arent pictures displayed in my incoming Outlook messages - Microsoft Community


i have outlook 2010.

i have outlook open of time - shutting down in order perform up.

however, have noticed, on occasions, when access inbox, have noticed pictures in incoming messages not displayed when are.

however,  the pictures reappear if restart outlook, , open same message,

has got idea going on??

thanks taking time share experience can take steps improve.

i have noticed using outlook 2010 old outlook version. currently, outlook has upgrade 2016. achieve better user experience , prompt response in outlook, if possible, suggested upgrade outlook latest version 2016 eliminate phenomenon.

scanpst.exe tool repair outlook personal folder file (.pst). based on description , understanding, issue not related pst file in outlook data file not damaged, there no data loss in outlook. it's random picture displaying issue.

so issue should related outlook itself, i'm not sure if have tried repair outlook via link below:

if not, please take shot. , recommend upgrade outlook 2010 2016 eliminate this behavior.

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
