i installed update last night , when turned on computer , tasks outlook gone. my calendar , email fine. just tasks missing.
we have re-indexed spotlight , outlook....did not help.
these tasks important me!

first, want confirm if use office 365 business account. if yes, need reconfigure account in outlook mac 2016 client, outlook items including tasks resynced exchange server. if reconfigure office 365 account , tasks still don’t appear, can contact admin of office 365 organization create in-place ediscovery search try find items.
if don’t use office 365 account, , use example, gmail account, want confirm if backup outlook mac database before based on article: outlook 2016 mac database?
if yes, can restore data base on the restore time machine backup part of article: use time machine or restore mac.
if not, based on experience, there no official methods find lost items.
