i have same problem , started yesterday (june 26, 2017) too! i have been running outlook business several years no problems. yesterday, after became concerned, asked outlook update , informed up-to-date. i tried 'less secure' button @ google, nothing happened. but noticed afterwards of read emails had disappeared. now looks no longer connected outlook , not know how fix it. i not computer savvy person.

to solve problem, please provide following information:
1. version of outlook client use?
2. problem occur on email accounts on outlook client?
3. screenshots of error message. screenshots, can know happens on side.
according description, problem may related connection between outlook client , gmail account. try configuring gmail account on affected email account , check if problem persists.
also, mentioned emails disappeared, please sign web application of email account , check if can see emails there.
