Microsoft Outlook - Microsoft Community


i running windows 10 home outlook.  i received many many updates windows 10.  since outlook display has drastically changed:

1.  before updates top of window, upon opening default tab  "home" automatically selected following other tabs available   file;  home;  send/receive;  folder;  view

2.  underneath on left series of folders such name inbox / other folders created / sent items / junk mail etc , in middle received emails headings such from, to, subject, date, etc.

3.  now:  the default opening tab file --  (no longer home).  additionally none of options available under home, such new options, new group options, delete options, respond options, etc no longer appear.

clicking on home bring things described in 3. part of folders in left side of screen covered @ top , not available.  

how fix - wrong?

it possible of applications , software have needs update compatibility purposes. isolate concern,  we'd ask following questions:

  • what email client using?
  • if you're using outlook desktop, may know version of office use? follow steps on link know office version have on desktop.
  • what have done far resolve issue?

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
