Wrong FROM address on Replies - Microsoft Community


i'm using outlook 2016, , have dozen email accounts in profile. of them imap accounts. followed instructions remove hotmail account , add again upgrade type of server connection used. prior upgrade, whenever pressed reply email, address on reply set account corresponding inbox in message received -- example, if i'm looking @ inbox *** email address removed privacy *** , press reply, compose window open *** email address removed privacy *** selected address. now, after upgrade, doesn't matter inbox i'm looking @ -- every reply has address set *** email address removed privacy ***! seriously! have remember press button open drop-down list , select correct address. if remove hotmail account, goes working right -- address set account on mail received. , if add hotmail account again, once again address on replies set *** email address removed privacy *** address! strange thing doesn't happen when create new message -- if i'm looking @ *** email address removed privacy *** inbox , press ctrl-n or otherwise compose new message, selects correct address corresponding inbox i'm looking at. possibly cause address on replies set wrong, , how fix it?

  • are getting random email address or specific email address showing on address whenever click reply?
  • what account's configuration?

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
